ACT! History

ACT! has a great history.

The original founders Pat Sullivan and Mike Muhney created the term Contact Management with the development of ACT!. This was later expanded to become the common terms CRM which is now sold via over 200 products around the world.

The original concept was to build a better way to keep names and addresses and a history of the relationship with our contacts.

The following is a short history of versions and the ownership changes.
