Mark Cohen
Mark is a resident of Sydney and loves his motor racing. He first got involved as a mechanic in the early 80’s and began driving in 1987. Since that time he has driven many different types of vehicles.
Probably his biggest joy was completing the only Australian 24 hour race at Bathurst in 2003. After starting from 45 position he and 3 other drivers managed to finish 26th outright despite a number of challenges including a brush with the wall on the top of the mountain.
Mark's story so far ...
From the first days when Mark started racing in 1987 as an enthusiastic amateur (Street Sedans), his ability as a skillful driver has gone from strength to strength. Mark has always endeavoured to be successful even though he has had to compete with teams often with far greater resources and budgets.
Mark has competed in a number of different vehicles and various classes. Overall he has generally been a keen driver and supporter of the Holden vehicle brand. Currently he also owns 3 Holden cabs in Sydney which are all VX Commodore's.
